museums in the nation. Here you are at the epicenter
of the RISD campus surrounded by studios, museum,
galleries, art stores and dorms. With beautiful
permanent collections and many exhibits and shows
it is a treasure trove of art. The original historic wing
has a European feel and the new modern wing – The
Chace Center is as hip as it gets – just ask any of the art
students tromping through here carrying projects on
their way to classes and studio.
