The south facade of the arcade is completely different from
the north facade. Perhaps as the result of an argument between the two architects. The building is undergoing a transition, one of the many that has occurred in its life which started in 1828. If the building is open be sure to go in and gaze at the magnificent architecture especially the 200 foot long glass roof and the wrought iron balconies.
